BCS travelled to Tawstock Church in Devon for
a two day session with Sinfonia Classica, to
produce and record a CD of Haydn Symphonies,
including the rarely recorded Divertimento in A,
Hob.X.10. After editing and mastering the CD was
first issued locally in Devon, and is now issued
worldwide on the Landor label. It met with
universally high praise, and won a Gramophone
Editor's Choice.
Woodhouse Recorder Week, a bi-annual music
course in Surrey, needed a co-ordinated approach to
web and print design. BCS supplied publicity
flyers, magazine advertisements, a website, course materials
(including a 24 page booklet) and photography.
BCS recorded Mediva's CD Gabriel's
Message late in 2006 and it was edited and
manufactured in time for a Christmas release that
year.
The piano accompaniment CDs issued with
Faber's Folk Stringfest and Classic
Stringfest publications were recorded by BCS
using state of the art sampled and modelled piano
sounds.

The Swain-Alexander Trust needed a programme booklet
for a Purcell Room concert. BCS designed it for them,
carrying out image editing and restoration, and
taking care of everything from co-ordination of
content to delivery of the finished product.
Faber Music Publishing
European Union Chamber Orchestra
As part of a funding application, EUCO asked BCS to
put together a showreel CD which drew together
recordings from a number of different sources. Some
of these were poor quality radio broadcasts which
needed to be integrated with higher quality material.
Using de-noising and spectral repair techniques BCS
was able to dovetail the material seamlessly and
supplied it on CD-R for short-run replication.
St John's Church Broadbridge Heath
St John's Church in Broadbridge Heath, West Sussex,
needed an attractive, informative website that could
be updated whenever necessary by the church's
Administrator. BCS designed a site that allowed just
that, with only minimal technical training required,
and which also presented frequently-updated photo and
audio content hosted on external sites.
King's College School, Wimbledon
The prestigious King's College School in Wimbledon
employed BCS for a series of one-day sessions to
record their choir and big band prior to the release
of a 'best of' CD. The sessions were carried out
using a mix of multi-track and purist classical
recording techniques as appropriate to the style of
music.
ABRSM
In a further tie-in with King's College School in
Wimbledon, BCS recorded tracks for ABRSM's Drum Kit
syllabus pilot project. This included recording and
mixing 'music minus one' versions of jazz standards,
and then preparing the resulting mixes ready for
further work in another studio.
