Robin Bigwood, Director

Robin was born in 1971 in Gloucestershire, and moved to the South East whilst studying piano and harpsichord at the Royal College of Music in London. His involvement in design, photography and recording dates back to childhood. In 2001 Robin began writing a monthly column about recording in Sound on Sound magazine, and he has since become a respected expert on many aspects of recording and computer technology. As well as running BCS, Robin works as a freelance musician, specialising in harpsichord and piano accompaniment. Personal interests include cycling and mountaineering.

Barn Cottage Studio is a small company based on the Surrey-Sussex border near to Dorking and Horsham. It was set up in 2004 by Robin Bigwood, an experienced musician and sound recordist, to cater for the specific promotional needs of musicians, artists and other creative people. BCS's key aims are to provide:
